Coffee lovers in London can get their hands on a free coffee this week to celebrate the launch of Oatly’s biggest ever UK campaign, encouraging people to celebrate a plant-based lifestyle as being the new ‘Norm(&)Al’.
Oatly, the world’s largest oat drink brand will bring its ‘travelling puppet show’ to Bishops Square from Wednesday 26th to Thursday 27th January and then to Chestnut Plaza, Westfield Stratford from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th January, giving away thousands of coffees for free. Yep, that’s right. Free. Zero. Nada.
To get your hands on a free coffee all you need to do is say ‘I like puppets’ to one of our Oatly baristas (the only time this won’t be creepy) and a free cup of plant-based coffee is yours*.
What do puppets have to do with coffee you might ask?
Well, meet Norm & Al, stars of ‘THE NEW NORM&AL SHOW’. Created by Oatly, the surreal drink carton shaped puppet duo are here to introduce society to the benefits of going plant-based via the medium of interpretive dance. Oh, and a few entertaining short films on oatly.co.uk/normandal
If you like your free oat drink coffee with a side of entertainment, just scan the QR code on the side of your branded Norm & Al cup and watch the puppet pair share their own experiences of embracing a plant-based lifestyle.
Whether a latte is your morning drink of choice, or tea with two sugars, you will be able to choose from skinny, semi or whole oat drink options and for those who don’t need a caffeine fix, hot chocolate made with Oatly’s Chocolate Deluxe Oat Drink, will also be available.
Oatly will also be giving away more free oat drinks across the UK at selected locations across the UK from 28th January onwards.
