Experts in pressed juice, Cawston Press, is delighted to announce the hire of newly appointed operations director, Jeeten Poonit. Former UK & Europe Head of Procurement in Agriculture & Ingredients at Pladis Global, Jeeten will lead the soft drinks brand’s next phase of growth whilst working on its new ‘Pressing For Better’ strategy.
Jeeten brings 30+ years of food and drink experience working across companies including Godiva Chocolatier, Britvic and Diageo, specialising in procurement category management, sourcing and supplier development and SRM. The new appointment comes alongside the launch of the Cawston Press’ ‘Pressing For Better’ sustainability action plan, which Jeeten will be heavily involved in implementing. The plan consists of 10 clear commitments for people and the planet, focused on supporting climate action, good health & well-being and responsible consumption and production, including working towards net zero and reducing wastage.
