Commercial vehicle rental and sales specialist MV Commercial has opened its fifth depot near Oxford to better serve new and existing customers in the area and provide HS2 contractors easy access to Euro 6 equipment.

The new one-acre site located on Field Driveway in Chipping Norton is situated just 60 minutes from London providing a convenient location for companies wishing to buy or rent new trucks for existing and upcoming clean air and Direct Vision Standard enforcement zones.

The depot will house a changing stock of up to 30 vehicles, and on-site facilities include a sheltered servicing and valet marquee and main office complex.

Steven Cairns, Managing Director of MV Commercial, says: “Demand for vehicles from both a hire & sales perspective has continued to grow and we’ve recently witnessed an increase from our customers in the south of England, so ensuring we have a location convenient for them became more important than ever.

“This new site means we have the best possible facilities to serve our customers and can provide them with the same level of exceptional service, cost-effective solutions and high-spec quality vehicles for which we have built a high reputation.

“The new location is already proving beneficial for contractors working on the HS2 route that need access to vehicles that comply with all legal regulations and standards, and we have the ability to make sure all assets come equipped with all vehicle safety requirements.”

The new site complements the company’s existing locations in Airdrie, Luton and Haydock and a recently opened van centre in Livingston. MV Commercial also has access to a nationwide network of local contractors for customer servicing and repairs.

The business has seen a period of continued growth, including being named as Commercial Motor’s Independent Dealer of the Year and one of the London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ in 2020.

Founded in 2001, MV Commercial has built its reputation as a major UK supplier of purpose-built commercial vehicles, including crane-mounted rigids, tractor units, tippers & grabs, and recovery vehicles in addition to box vans, curtains and mainstream tractor units and light commercial vehicles.
