An Invar Systems project, involving the rollout of Hikrobot AMRs across Superdry’s international DC network, has been selected by the CILT as the UK’s entry for Europe’s most prestigious logistics award, The European Logistics Association’s (ELA) “Project of the Year” 2021.

Now, with just six shortlisted projects qualifying for the finals, it’s your chance to vote for the UK entry by attending a free online event where you will see presentations on the best logistics solutions in Europe.

The online Award ceremony will take place on the 9th November in front of an international audience of senior logistics professionals and officials from both the European Parliament and the European Commission. The Invar Systems entry is one of just six shortlisted projects to reach the finals, having first qualified by winning the “Technology Supply Chain Excellence” category at the UK’s CILT Awards earlier this year and then being put forward as the UK entry for the ELA’s Europe-wide Awards.

The ELA Awards scheme is recognised as the most prestigious awards scheme in the supply chain sector, requiring entrants to not only submit a detailed written entry, but also to present to an audience of high-level logistics professionals. The European Logistics Association is a highly respected and authoritative body representing 30 constituent national supply chain and logistics associations across Europe.

Appealing to the UK logistics industry, Tim Wright, Managing Director of Invar Systems, says: “We’re delighted to have been selected by the CILT as the UK’s entry for this highly prestigious Award. However, we need your vote on the 9th November to win. So please support the UK’s entry by registering for the event and voting.”
