With healthy lifestyles and the environment high on the agenda of consumers world over, many people are switching to a flexitarian lifestyle. If that’s you, then you’ll be jumping for joy with the news that Britain’s much loved yoghurt brand is making a splash into dairy-free with the launch of Plant – a range of plant-based Greek-style yoghurt alternatives (400g & 135g) available in 4 delicious flavours – Natural, Raspberry, Passion Fruit and Fudge.

The Collective Plant, is made with a unique blend of oats, coconut and rice to create a melt-in-the-mouth thick and creamy base, then layered with delicious low sugar compotes. Soy-free, nut-free and vegan-friendly; this range, grown from a love of dairy yet made without it, is perfect for those who like to switch between dairy and dairy-free and, of course, those who avoid dairy altogether.

The Collective is known for their original range of ridiculously tasty gourmet live yoghurt and plant is no different. The team has worked passionately for over 2 years, developing a unique recipe, sourcing the highest quality ingredients, and creating the best tasting plant milk because to make the finest yoghurt, you need the finest milk, that in turn creates an amazingly thick and creamy, awesome tasting plant-based yoghurt.
Launching in recyclable PET pots, made from 100% recycled material, this game changing range will be reaching flexitarians nationwide in January.

The Collective Plant

The Collective Plant plain in 400g
The Collective’s plant-based yoghurt in all its glory with a totally unique, ridiculously tasty flavour coming from its blend of 3 ingredients; oats for a deliciously sweet, golden earthy flavour and silky smooth finish; coconut for a creamy nuttiness and rich, decadent mouth-feel; and the rice for clean, neutral and subtly sweet notes to round off the delicately balanced flavours. Once fermented with live cultures, the result is a luxuriously thick and creamy plant-based yoghurt with a fresh and tangy flavour.

The Collective Plant raspberry in 400g and 135g
The Collective have sourced the plumpest, juiciest raspberries for a deliciously jammy, fresh raspberry layer of compote that pairs perfectly with the creamy plant-based yoghurt.

The Collective Plant 400g and 135g range will be available nationwide from the 3rd January 2021. £2.20 RRP per 400g tub and £1.25 RRP per 135g tub.

The Collective has also recently become B-Corp accredited, and is putting an even bigger focus on their commitment to be a force for good in the world. This launch builds on the brands strong belief of bringing consumers great taste through real, natural food, and its commitment to do better for the planet.

So how are The Collective going to deliver on taste?

The best tasting yoghurt is made from the highest quality milk which is why The Collective have created their own unique milk blend using oats, rice and coconut – the oats give earthy, sweet, caramel notes with a silky-smooth finish; coconut brings creamy, light nutty notes with a rich and decadent mouthfeel; and rice creates clean and neutral notes which rounds off the flavour. Consequently, this means that The Collective Plant is deliciously creamy and fresh, with a smooth and delicately balanced flavour. Paired with mouth-watering, low sugar compotes including raspberry, passion fruit and fudge this range is naturally bursting with flavour.

And how are The Collective going to deliver on sustainability?

The Collective also continue to lead the way in sustainability; Plant is packaged in recyclable PET pots, made from 100% recycled material, and will be launching with the same kind of recyclable black lid that sits on their gourmet live yoghurts, which contains a nifty dye that makes it detectable within recycling plants. Proud to have recently become B Corp accredited, The Collective continue to explore ways to become more sustainable in all aspects of their business and have commissioned the Carbon Trust to measure their carbon footprint so they can take steps to improve it.
