Apple Watch compatibility also remains effective without the need for any additional hardware.
Integrated into the Peoplesafe app, Roamsafe automatically switches to the strongest available network when the phone’s primary SIM loses connectivity. Providing instant access to the UK’s four major networks, it offers employees peace of mind that they always fully protected, with an ability to access the Peoplesafe Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) whenever they need it.
How Roamsafe works:
- Automatic Network Switching: If the signal from the primary network drops, the Peoplesafe app automatically connects to a backup network using the eSIM.
- Instant Alert: Employees can instantly raise an alarm to the Peoplesafe Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) anywhere in the UK, ensuring help is always just a button away.
- ARC Response: The ARC receives the alert, complete with the employee’s location and Nexus profile, including key details like name, age, allergies, and medical conditions, ensuring the fastest and most informed response. With the app's integration with What3Words, the ARC can pinpoint the location within a 5m² radius.
- Immediate Assistance: The ARC coordinates a response with emergency services and escalation contacts. With direct access to police control rooms, the Peoplesafe ARC guarantees the fastest possible response in any emergency without the need for the user to make a 999 call.
