A further senior appointment has been made at a thriving 3PL provider that is going from strength to strength.
Lisa Tomlinson, 38, from Scunthorpe, joins the team at Carlton Forest Logistics as its Head of Operations, a newly created role that is necessary to support the Managing Director deliver his vision and ongoing growth plans of the board.
“This is a great opportunity for me to be part of a vastly growing business that is dedicated to delivering a positive customer experience and being the best,” said Lisa. “The team are incredibly hard working and dedicated and there is an incredibly positive feel to the culture within the business. I’m excited about the future, and the part I will play in taking Carlton Forest through its current five-year plan.”
Lisa, who joins the team from bathroom retailer Victoria Plum, has over 20 years’ experience in manufacturing and logistics within operations and factory and warehouse management, supplying both retail and trade customers. With a BA Hons in Business Studies and professional qualifications including International Transport Manager CPC, NEBOSH, Mental Health First Aider and Green Belt Lean Six Sigma, she will have responsibility for all current sites which include Worksop, Hellaby and three units at Bawtry Park.
