Walker Logistics – the online fulfilment and logistics solutions specialist – has announced that it has extended its sponsorship agreement with motorsport ace Gordon Shedden as he competes for this year’s British Touring Car Championship.
A three-times winner of the British Touring Car series, Gordon Shedden drives for Team Dynamics and will display Walker Logistics’ corporate logo and other branding on his car, crash helmet and overalls during every race in the 2022 Championship season.
Charlie Walker, Walker Logistics’ head of marketing, commented: “The British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) is one of the best-loved, most illustrious and famous motor racing championships in the world. It attracts millions of fans and only Formula One and America’s NASCAR stock car series have larger followings.
“From a business perspective, the BTCC is the perfect platform for Walker Logistics and, having enjoyed a successful partnership with Gordon for a number of years, we can’t wait to see him in the championship this season.”
Gordon Shedden added: “Walker Logistics are motivated, driven and hungry to be the best in their industry, which is why we are a perfect fit for each other.”
Based in Berkshire, Walker Logistics delivers a range of logistics and order fulfillment services to a diverse client base. The company is growing rapidly and, to keep pace with demand for its services, Walker is undertaking a multi-million pound expansion of its storage hub.
