Gophr, the UK’s fastest-growing last mile delivery network, has hired Patrick Eve as chief commercial officer.

Patrick will be running Gophr’s enterprise sales and growth, as it expands its reach among larger organisations, particularly across retail, both in the UK and beyond.

Patrick joins Gophr, which has clients including Boots, Hello Fresh, Co-op and more, from returns specialist ZigZag Global, where he was the first senior hire and led the growth team, running four investment rounds and overseeing its UK and international growth.

In February, Gophr unveiled details of a £4m funding round, led by Nauta Capital, to fuel its growth across 2021 and beyond.

Gophr focuses on improving delivery performance at the individual courier level, using smarter package data, more efficient routing strategies and gamified incentives. It saw revenue growth of 300% during the last 12 months, and even prior to covid, was recognised
in Deloitte’s Fast 50, as one of fastest growing companies in the UK (based on its
last four years’ growth (CAGR year on year).

Patrick said:
“I know the satisfaction of helping support fast, sustainable growth in a promising company with a unique offering. Gophr has big ambitions but also the structure and drive to make these happen and shake up the sector in a really positive way. This is an interesting time to be in last-mile delivery,
and Gophr has a strong offer, built on putting the courier first, which results in better service and outcomes across the board.”

Seb Robert, founder and CEO of Gophr, added:
“We’re really happy to have Patrick on board, I’ve known him for years and was always impressed by how helpful and approachable he was, and his knowledge of the industry and the people in it. That he’s decided to come on board is a huge vote of confidence in what we’re doing. He’s focusing on taking our enterprise sales to the next level both here in the UK and further afield”
