B Medical Systems is a global leader in the vaccine cold chain industry and is a leading medical refrigeration solution provider. The company manufactures ultra-low freezers, vaccine refrigerators, freezers, and transport boxes used for storing and transporting vaccines including COVID-19 vaccines across the world.

The extension project is a result of the significant rise in the demand for its products across the world and will house several new production lines for its products. The extension project is supported by various Luxembourgish construction companies and is expected to be operational by July 2021 and create 150 additional jobs.

“I am happy to announce the start of the extension of our production plant, in collaboration with the Government of Luxembourg. Over the last few months, the demand for vaccine cold chain has gone up tremendously. With the vaccine rollout happening in a phased approach, we see this demand continuing for at least another 2 years. Hence the extension is a critical step for us to support customers across the world in offering reliable vaccine cold chain solutions. We are glad that we could get all the suppliers for this project from within Luxembourg’’ said Mr. Luc Provost, CEO of B Medical Systems.

B Medical Systems is also the exclusive supplier of Luxembourg’s COVID-19 vaccine cold chain solution. The company’s products offer a storage and transportation range of -80 °C to +4°C and are being used to store the COVID-19 vaccines procured by the Govt of Luxembourg. The company is also supporting the COVID-19 vaccine cold chain infrastructure across various countries including Germany, France, the USA, Mexico, Indonesia, etc.
