IVECO will be trucking up to the Harrogate International Convention Centre in Yorkshire for TipEx, which returns after a year’s hiatus from September 30th to October 2nd.

On the stand this year, IVECO will be showcasing its latest heavy-duty vehicles, such as the recently launched IVECO X-WAY in tipper chassis and tipper-grab form. Also on display at the lighter end, will be a 3.5t Daily Driveaway Arboriculture Tipper.

The new IVECO X-WAY marks the perfect crossing between the on-road comfort, connectivity and driveability of the new IVECO S-WAY and the strength and toughness required for those tasks that see last mile delivery points away from the beaten track.

The first, an AD360X42Z/P OFF, features a Boweld Mightylite HD Grabmaster tipper-grab body with Edbro UB16 tipping gear and Palfinger Epsilon Classic crane on a 5020mm wheelbase 8×4 chassis with rear air suspension. Finished in X-WAY’s hero metallic orange paintwork, the 32-tonner features the 420hp/2,000Nm HI-SCR Cursor 11 diesel engine with the proven and well-received 12-speed automated HI-TRONIX gearbox with Rocking Mode. Both front axles are rated at 8-tonnes with the dual-drive rear bogie rated at 21-tonnes.

The 2.3m wide low-roof AD (day) Cab has been equipped with full LED lighting (front/rear/roof beacons) with cornering lights and protection bars, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, servo-assisted cab tilting, door roller blinds, DSE + DAS (Driving Style Evaluation & Driver Attention Support), ESP, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable & heated door mirrors, air horns, full-Air cab seating with red safety belts, radiator guards, Alcoa Diamant alloy wheels, external sun visor, idle cut-off, leather steering wheel and a swivelling 7” touch-screen infotainment system with smartphone mirroring, Bluetooth, USB, DAB, TomTom LIVE truck navigation and Over-the-Air software update capabilities.

‘OFF’ (N3G) homologation is perfect for predominantly off-road applications with legendary robustness, a shallower TCO-enhancing 3-piece steel front bumper and a >25° approach angle.

Additionally, IVECO will be displaying a second new X-WAY, dealer Guest Truck & Van customer, Jab Haulage’s AS360X51Z ON+. In white, the truck showcases the standard-fit 3-piece Hybrid front bumper with its extra-durable lower sections constructed from high-strength steel with optional colour-coding above. The ON+ set-up offers a minimal 72mm axle drop for additional ground clearance, ideal with the vehicle entering service on a Tarmac franchise. The max-width AS low-roof sleeper cab features a high-level of equipment with a wide T-shaped single bunk, wrap-around dashboard, and a minimal 95mm high transmission tunnel, helpfully containing any debris to the individual footwells. The vehicle will be fitted with a Swadlincote Aluminium & Welding high-sided ‘v-runner’ insulated tarmac tipper body.

Creating immediate solutions to businesses operating at the lower end of the weight scale (3.5-7.2t), IVECO presents a 3.5t Arboriculture Tipper from its ready-to-roll DRIVEAWAY programme. In-stock, all Driveaway vehicles are built to Daily Business specification, comprising air conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, electrically adjustable & heated door mirrors, and front fog lights, offering comfort and adaptability with dedicated model-line badging helping to boost resale values by up to £1,000 at 12-months old.

The ARB Tipper variant is built on the 35C16H, with twin rear-wheels, 3750mm wheelbase, heavy-duty homologated 160hp 3.0 F1C diesel engine and 6-speed manual gearbox. As standard, it also includes the new Construction Pack (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, sump guard, cross-axle locking differential, elliptical rear springs and towing electrics) plus Hill Descent Control & Traction+ for those more challenging locations. The business-end features remote-controlled 3-stage electronic under-floor tipping gear with a tough high-sided aluminium Brit-Tipp tipping body with aluminium tool lockers mounted behind the cab barn doors, adjustable chip-hood and ladder rack on a galvanised steel chassis. A pull-out rear step, LED safety beacons and towbar complete the generous and highly functional specification.

TipEx ‘21 opens at 10:00 on Thursday September 30th, closing at 16:00 on Saturday October 2nd at Harrogate Convention Centre in Harrogate, Yorkshire. IVECO will be occupying stand OS22 outside the main entrance to the Royal Hall off Ripon Road.
