Knowles transport invests in 85 new trailers as growth continues

Knowles Transport has purchased 85 trailers from leading trailer manufacturer Lawrence David as growth continues following a hike in demand for their services across all areas of the business.

The new trailers comprise a mix of replacements for existing trailers as well as new additions to supplement Knowles’ growing fleet,

Knowles Transport will also be unveiling new livery on their newly acquired trailers.

Lawrence David has provided Knowles with their renowned pillarless curtainsider that will be finished with Knowles’ new distinctive branding.

Built to a premium component specification, the Lawrence David pillarless curtainsiders feature a rear roof air diffuser, flush rear doors for functionality and aesthetics, full LED lighting, a premium load securing system, and provide maximum body access for operational efficiencies whilst maintaining optimum overall height.

Heavily focused on improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions from their vehicles, Lawrence David and Knowles Transport worked together on a variety innovations for fuel saving and environmental benefits.

Over the past 40 years Knowles and Lawrence David have enjoyed a relationship that has spanned over three generations of the Knowles – who each have worked with three levels of Lawrence David personnel to continue their long-lasting partnership.
